    1. Hi Amy, yes, spring is on the way!

I enjoyed going camping in the great outdoors with your blog post. This is going to be an interesting challenge to keep up with, but I love the places we can go vicariously.

    1. Thanks Claudia, it ought to be easier to run by and read, with just 17 syllables waiting :-)

    1. You're welcome Sandra. I enjoyed my trek to your side of the blogosphere. I used to haiku in a group years ago, it was quite a challenge, but one I enjoy. I thought it might make it easier for people to pop in, and bring a little something different to the table.

  5. What a great idea. You could then put all the haikus together to form an A to Z poem at the end.

    1. Thank you Dr. Rhia :-) I wonder if they will work well together when all is said and done. Perhaps I will give that a go. :-)

    1. Thank you Beth. I know poetry is not your favorite and I have chosen to do it on both sites, so I am glad you found something enjoyable in this one. I like the challenge of haiku... :-) Thank you for peeking!

  8. I get such a kick out of Haiku and I'm not a poetry lover. There is another Haiku person on the A-Z I got hooked on last year, it's http://haiku-corner.blogspot.com/HAIKU CORNER and I guess she's not in it this year. Looking forward to more from you.

    1. I'm glad to hear you enjoy it. It's quick, and to the point. I wondered if there might be another who was venturing out into the Haiku world of words, but had not seen one yet. I am going to go check this link out though, and see what can be seen!

  9. You know-- I love Haiku's!! Of course, I am not very good at writing them--but I do love to read them. I enjoyed this one--as much as I'm enjoying having spring here!! Cheers, Jenn.

    1. Thank you Jenn. I love the challenge of refining words until they fit a particular perimeter, Haiku is one of those styles.

Thank you for peeking in... happy A-Z'ing!

  14. Lovely image here, and it makes me feel warm and serene. Our flowering trees are in bloom already in RI, and even though it's been chilly this week, it gives me hope. Thanks for sharing this.

    1. Anytime Elaine. We are on the other side of the continent, but winter has a bit of a strangle hold on spring so far... cold one day with snow, and then a couple of days later it will be sunshiny again. (shakes her head) But the tulips say it's coming!
