The orchid is quite proud, isn't she? A proud flower. Not silly like pansies. Though I'm far more comfortable in the company of The pansy at his funny face....
My son used to buy me orchids on occasion, but after I killed the last two, he has decided not to do it anymore. It's unfortunate, for whatever reason my green thumb has not extended to their elegance. The pansies on the other hand, are thriving already, before the daffodils have bloomed ;-)
Oh, I can feel this one all the way to my toes. My daughter's favorite flower is an orchid. My son's is the Bird of Paradise. Mine is the Iris. I just love the reality my children each have a favorite flower.
Our favorite form of poetry to write together? HAIKU! LOL.
THANK YOU... loving your haiku!

That's pretty good, I missed the Bird of Paradise, but I got the other two. It's a pretty special kind of bond to be able to share poetry with both of your children, that is fantastic Julie.
Love orchids! My favorite flower.
ReplyDeleteMe too, they have such extravagant elegance.

They are one of my favorites, I just wish I could grow them more effectively. They are good for about a year, and then they die on me. :(
